THERAPY DOG RETIRES WITH ROCK STAR FAREWELL AT AUSTRALIAN HOSPITAL

A much-loved therapy dog got a fond farewell after years of helping patients at a hospital in Australia.

Norman, who’s retiring from his duties as the most lovable visitor on the floor, was greeted with an honor guard of applause, cheers, and bubbles to mark his final march through Sunshine Coast University Hospital in Birtinya, Queensland.

The pup is hanging up his collar after seven years of supporting patients through some of their most trying health conditions.

Now, Norman is facing one of his own.

The 11-year-old golden retriever has been diagnosed with canine cancer.

But his compassionate contributions will not be forgotten.

“Norman’s visits are always a highlight for patients and staff,” the medical center wrote on a Facebook post. “He will be missed by all.”
